Building Design Technician

The Building Design Technician program prepares students for a career in architectural drafting and building design.

Students learn how to create technical drawings, develop design concepts, and work with industry-standard software to bring construction projects to life.

The Building Design Technician diploma program is designed to provide students with the technical skills and practical knowledge required to work in the building design and construction industry.

Throughout the program, students learn how to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, interpret blueprints, and develop building designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit. The curriculum also focuses on understanding building codes, construction standards, and design principles.

Students gain hands-on experience through real-world projects and build a professional design portfolio. The program also includes an internship, allowing learners to apply their knowledge in a real work environment.

Graduates will be prepared to work in architecture firms, construction companies, and design studios, contributing to residential and commercial building projects.
