The IT Support & Cloud Technician – AI Enabled program prepares students to launch a career in IT support, cloud services, and modern workplace technology.

Students will learn how to support users, troubleshoot systems, manage cloud-based services, and use AI tools the way working IT professionals use them.

About Program

The IT Support & Cloud Technician – AI Enabled diploma program is designed for adults who want to start a career in IT, including career changers, returners, and self-taught learners.

Over 52 weeks, students learn how to support real users, troubleshoot real systems, manage cloud services, and work with modern IT tools used in Canadian workplaces.

The program covers computer systems, operating systems, service desk support, Windows client support, networking, identity management, Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

AI is built into every subject from the beginning. Students learn how to use AI responsibly for troubleshooting, documentation, productivity, and IT workflows, while following verification standards.

Students graduate with a portfolio of real lab work, a personal AI operating system, preparation for three Microsoft fundamentals certifications, and an 80-hour internship inside a real IT environment.

• Computer Systems & Operating Systems Fundamentals

Learn hardware, operating systems, file systems, boot processes, Windows, macOS, Linux fundamentals, PowerShell, and bash basics. Students build a PC build-and-diagnose lab report and a command-line cheat sheet.

• Microsoft Office Tools & AI-Assisted Productivity

Develop professional skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams while using Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT. Students build an Office productivity pack, ticket-analysis dashboard, and runbook template.

• Service Desk Support, Customer Service & IT Communication

Learn ITIL basics, ticket triage, prioritization, knowledge base writing, remote support etiquette, and user communication. Students complete mock tickets, a triage playbook, KB articles, and a recorded remote-support session.

• Windows Client Support & Endpoint Management

Study Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, policy-based device compliance, and PowerShell for IT support. Students build an endpoint-management lab with documented deployment and troubleshooting tools.

• Networking Fundamentals for IT Support & Cloud Connectivity

Learn OSI/TCP-IP, IP, DNS, DHCP, routing basics, firewalls, VPNs, hybrid cloud connectivity, ping, tracert, nslookup, and Wireshark basics. Students build a network troubleshooting portfolio.

• User, Group & Identity Management

Learn Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including provisioning, groups, conditional access, MFA, SSO, hybrid identity, and audit logs. Students build an Entra ID tenant and identity troubleshooting runbook.

• Cloud Fundamentals & Azure Core Services (AZ-900)

Study cloud concepts, Azure architecture, core services, RBAC, and cost management. Students build an Azure lab environment and AZ-900 study portfolio.

• Microsoft 365 Administration & Cloud Support (MS-900)

Learn Microsoft 365 admin centers, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Students build a Microsoft 365 Developer tenant and MS-900 study portfolio.

• Cybersecurity Fundamentals for IT & Cloud Support (SC-900)

Study threat landscape, Zero Trust, Microsoft Defender, and practical security duties in IT support. Students complete an incident-response walkthrough and SC-900 study portfolio.

• Career Development, Cert Exam Prep & Job Readiness

Prepare for AZ-900, MS-900, and SC-900 exams, build a portfolio site, create a personal AI operating system, improve resume and LinkedIn, and complete job-search preparation.

• Internship

Complete an 80-hour internship in a real IT environment such as an MSP, internal IT department, customer-support team, cloud-first company, or small business with IT needs.
