Plumber Pre-Apprenticeship

The Plumber Pre-Apprenticeship program prepares students to take the first step toward becoming a licensed plumber in Ontario.

Students will learn how to safely use plumbing tools, install piping systems, repair fixtures, read blueprints, and understand plumbing codes through hands-on training.

The Plumber Pre-Apprenticeship program is designed to help students build the practical skills and safety knowledge needed to pursue a paid plumber apprenticeship.

Throughout the program, students learn how plumbing systems work, how to install and repair plumbing fixtures, and how to work with different types of piping materials. Training includes hands-on practice with tools, piping, tubing, drainage, venting, blueprint reading, and Ontario plumbing codes.

Students are taught by licensed plumbers with real industry experience and train in a facility designed to simulate real job-site environments.

The program also includes important safety certifications that employers look for when hiring apprentices. Graduates will be prepared to apply for plumber apprenticeship opportunities and begin working toward becoming certified journeypersons in the trade.
