The HVAC Technician program prepares students for a career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry.
Students will learn how to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems used in residential and commercial environments.
About Program
The HVAC Technician diploma program is designed to provide students with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required in the heating and cooling industry.
Throughout the program, students learn the fundamentals of gas systems, air conditioning, and HVAC system design. The curriculum includes both classroom instruction and supervised workshop training to ensure students gain real-world experience.
Students will develop skills in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. The program also covers safety procedures and environmental considerations such as ozone depletion prevention.
Graduates will be prepared to work as HVAC technicians and may pursue TSSA certification (G3 and G2) required for working with gas systems in Ontario.
