Education Assistant

The Education Assistant program prepares students to support teachers and students in schools and educational environments.

Students will learn how to assist children with diverse learning needs and help create inclusive and supportive classroom settings.

The Education Assistant diploma program is designed to provide students with the skills needed to support children and youth in educational environments.

Throughout the program, students learn how to assist learners with different abilities, including those with developmental, behavioural, and communication challenges. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with practical training to prepare students for real-world school settings.

Students will develop strong communication, behavioural support, and instructional skills required to work alongside teachers and educational teams.

The program also includes industry-recognized certifications such as First Aid & CPR, WHMIS, ASIST, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, which are essential for working in schools and community environments.

Graduates will be prepared to work in schools, community programs, and support settings helping children succeed in their education.
